Our philosophy
Novant Health Triad Obstetrics & Gynecology is a unique ob/gyn practice based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Founded with pro-life values, we put respect for life at the center of all that we do.
Natural family planning
Instead of contraceptives or permanent birth control procedures, we offer couples natural ways to achieve and avoid pregnancy. Natural family planning is the method many of our patients choose. Supporting natural pregnancy & childbirth
When you are pregnant, we do all that we can to allow your pregnancy and labor to progress naturally. Should a fetal anomaly be detected, we do not support termination; instead, we offer care to your unborn child as long as there is a heartbeat.
We support mothers carrying babies to term and those looking to have as natural a childbirth as possible. We also understand that sometimes pain medication is desired, whether you've planned on having it or not. Should your birth plan change, we will work with you to accommodate your desire for pain medication as well. Click here to learn more.
Our providers deliver babies at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center; they do not attend home births or births at birth centers.
Medical intervention when necessary
Throughout your life, we encourage lifestyle changes to prevent obstetric and gynecologic issues, and to better handle hormonal changes. We do not offer non-medically necessary hysterectomy or sterilization procedures. However, we also understand that medical and surgical interventions can be needed in certain cases to preserve your health or the health of your unborn child. In these instances, you can rest assured knowing that Novant Health Triad Obstetrics & Gynecology offers you access to state-of-art prenatal and gynecologic care.
When you choose Novant Health Triad Obstetrics & Gynecology, you get a group of providers who will respect your wishes about your medical care, but understand when medical and surgical interventions might be necessary. They will work to explain your treatment options and answer your questions as you decide on the best course of care for yourself.
