What is a midwife?

A Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is a licensed healthcare provider to support you during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery alongside our board-certified OB/GYN providers. A CNM has graduated from college and passed a national exam to earn a license to practice midwifery.  Your CNM is an expert in knowing when symptoms during pregnancy require extra attention and works closely with your doctor provide the care you and your baby need.
